Build sustainable, off-grid housing units for 100 homeless people, including veterans, as fast as possible starting December 15, 2023 with first units coming online between December 25 and January 1.

  • Academy Student Online (Join remotely and watch the live stream via the Online Academy).
  • Proceeds from the Online Academy are applied to this emergency housing relief project.

Sustainable & Off-Grid Living Systems

  • Power: Mini Solar power system. (grid backup).
  • Water: Catchwater with filters and pumps. (grid backup).
  • Waste Water: Onsite Treatment via Contained Botanical Cells. (grid backup)
  • Heating: Passive Solar with Solar Radiant.
  • Cooling: Thermal Mass & Ventilation.
  • Food Production: Botanical Cells in community gardens.

Potential Timeline

  • ASAP: Agreement with city/county. This allows Pangea to stage the project, gather volunteers & students, etc.
  • ASAP: Pangea to provide architectural drawings.
  • ASAP: acquire and deliver materials, prepare the site. Pangea to provide materials list and staging details.
  • Dec 10: permission finalized. (permits, zoning, etc.)
  • Dec 11: all phase 1 materials on site in designated locations.
  • Dec 15: break ground
  • First Units online between Dec 25 – Jan 1.
    • Then people move in as more units come online.
